Rachna Khare leads Daya, a Houston-based nonprofit that empowers South Asian survivors of gender-based violence with culturally responsive services. She serves on the Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative and the Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council. Rachna is a Board member for the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault and serves as a Thought Leaders for the Texas Council on Family Violence. Nationally, she is a Founding Member of the South Asian Survivors & Organizations in Alliance & Rising. A native Houstonian, Rachna is committed to building equity and reimagining justice in the AAPI community.
