Susan Cheng (she/her) serves as the Organizing Director and is a Founding Member at Ahri Center, where she leads the organization’s local, statewide, and national campaigns. Her work focuses on assessing community needs and developing strategic initiatives that center wellness, equity, and transformative justice. At Ahri, Susan is helping shape a sustainable model for community organizing through shared leadership, transparent pay structures, and cross-issue solidarity. With her team, she is building a movement rooted in care—where organizers are supported to grow, thrive, and stay in the work long term. Susan is especially invested in developing replicable practices that prevent burnout and foster a healthy organizing ecosystem for future generations.
