Thao Nguyen is a Senior Community Organizer at Asian American Advancing Justice-Atlanta. She is responsible for developing, planning and implementing programming for the AANHPI/AMEMSA and immigrant communities, such as culturally responsive political education, queer youth group meetings, and youth activist development. She has extensive work experience in public affairs, community liaison and program development in the nonprofit sector. Thao has a background in psychology and sociology.

She believes in the importance of political education to create change in the system level to lift the disadvantaged communities and is passionate about promoting equity.
